Shampoo

Well I have decided the Almond oil is not good in Shampoo. I love the original recipe for body wash and shaving gel but it was just not right for shampoo. I made a new shampoo using just baking soda and liquid castile soap and it is working much better. I use Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap which comes in many different scents so you can find the one that is right for you.

Shampoo
7 TBS Liquid Castile Soap
½ cup Baking Soda

Mix ingredients together. If too runny add more baking soda if to thick add more soap.

On another note I was thinking today as I prepare to go to CA that although I miss my family and friends back home I really like my home here. I have incredibley great friends. Andon and I are so very lucky and I am so thankful for each and everyone. So Thank you to our wonderful friends who have made being so far away from our family a wonderful experience. You are our like our second family and I love you all.

Of course I was talking about you guys. Katie is Andon's best friend. Well to be honest Jackson is up there too. We also can not forget about Sidney, Peyton, Hayley, Lillie, Allison, Halli, Lauren, Chloe, Georgia, and baby Jackson. And of course all our other neighborhood friends. But we love you all and are so happy to have so many good friends.

Hello... I've enjoyed reading you blogs today. I found it after looking at the Sara Snow message board on the DH channel website.

I like reading how other people that are fairly new to living oragnically and/or naturally are having difficulties as I am. I find it frustrating that I am limited to what I can buy that is naturally or organically made. (at least right now I am). I also live in Texas but with no Whole Foods near by I have to rely on HEB or Kroger which have organic products and stuff, just not enough.

Anyway.. just wanted to post that I am glad there is someone out there that can relate.

Thanks...
